March 5th 2021 Announcement***
It is with deep regret that as we move into the Red Zone of the current framework provided by the Ministry of Health, we must cancel all House League and REP ice times effective immediately, until further notice.
As per the Red Zone protocols, team sports cannot practice or play games but training up to 10 is allowed. As we will not be offering any training, we can not offer any on ice activity until we are advised otherwise.
Please bear with us as we navigate the situation, which will apply to the future of this season and pending refunds.
We will keep you posted.
Please stay safe.
Regards,
CCMHA Executive

Update: Arena User Guidelines Feb 26th 2021
Update: Arena User Guidelines
In response to the evolving situation of the COVID-19 VOCs (Variant of Concern), the Government of Ontario has adopted a more rigorous and cautious approach to implementing public health measures.
This includes the new Active Screening Requirement mentioned in previous communication as well as updated isolation requirements for household members. As such, we have updated the Arena User Guidelines, under the section Safety Protocol, to reflect the following:
If a School or Workplace has sent one of your participants/players home or identified that the participant/player must remain in isolation due to close contact of a confirmed or suspected COVID Case or a school or workplace closure, the participant/player as well as their entire household (siblings, parents, etc) CANNOT attend an extra-curricular activity in the arenas until the 14 day isolation period has ended and/or they receive a NEGATIVE COVID test result and are symptom free.
As an example of the above guideline – participants, players, siblings, parents, or other people living in the same household as students or teachers who attend Lasalle or Cyril Varney are not to attend arenas up to and including March 4th 2021.

For your information
Public Health has made some changes to the screening and self isolation protocols. Please see details on their fb page.
We have been directed by SDHU that the students that attend any school closure due to the possibility of a variant of concern ( in this case Lasalle Secondary and Cyril Varney Public ) the player, siblings and other people who are in their household are not to attend arenas up to and including March 4th.
If this changes, we will post it immediately.
